Innovation is the name of the game at Premier Brands of America Inc. The Mount Vernon, NY–based company, boasts a full line of branded and private label foot care products and selected HBA products.
The Premier line of products features over 60 foot care products and selected health and beauty aid products. Premier label can be seen in over 10,000 stores across America and in 30,000 stores under private label. Products offered include: Insoles, Foot remedies, Deodorants and First Aid items.

According to 2008 Mintel Footcare Research, a quarter (24%) of women report that they wear high heels despite the fact they cause pain.

Approximately 35% of men and 45% of women reported experiencing foot pain/irritation.  This is one of several indications that the demand for footcare products is somewhat higher among women. Premier Brands recently developed several products to help alleviate foot pain for women including a Clear Gel Heel Liner, Silky Foam Insoles and New Bamboo Insoles.

The Clear Gel Heel Liner has a slim, soft gel design and is tailored to fit a woman’s shoe and helps to reduce blisters and heel irritation.

The Silky Foam Insoles come right in time for summer. The soft, cushioning insole is sold three pairs of insoles to a package and offers two basic colors and a fun, giraffe print. The insole fits comfortably and discreetly in a pump or open toe shoe.

Adhering to the environmentally friendly trend, Premier Brands has introduced an eco-friendly foot insole with a unique cloth lining made from high-quality natural bamboo fibers. Bamboo is one of the fastest growing plants in the world and is a sustainable resource. The bamboo cloth lining is naturally antibacterial, which helps prevent foot odors. The eco-friendliness continues with this new product’s packaging, which is made from100% recycled paperboard.

Aside from the new women’s foot care products, Premier has launched the first Antifungal Liquid Foot Spray with a continuous spray feature, which makes it superior to the national brand. Continuous spray is a convenient way to apply 1% tolnaftate athlete’s foot spray to hard-to-reach areas of the foot. The innovative bag-on-valve technology enables spraying in any direction - even upside down.

The women’s foot care private label initiatives were in response to Dr Scholl’s For Her brand, which includes insoles designed specifically for high-heeled shoes.  This line has grown faster than any other line for Dr Scholl’s. Premier’s commitment to innovation is once again proven with the launch of its Gel Dots, which can be positioned on the foot or on the shoe at any point of irritation and also launched Gel straps for strapped shoes that can cut into a women’s foot and cause pain. Both these products go beyond what national brands offer.
