MarcabyBolognaFiere: Excellence for Private Labels
The seventh edition of MarcabyBolognaFiere – Private Label Conference and Exhibition, will be held in Bologna on 19 and 20 January 2011.
The event is not only highly commercial: it is also a platform for training and information that develops at the Fair and in a series of appointments during the year. It is the only international event to involve top names in LOD and OD, which, besides being members of the Technical Scientific Committee, exhibit at MarcabyBolognaFiere and ensure the event’s relevance and dynamism.
In 2011, MarcabyBolognaFiere will once again present So Fresh, the fresh food products conference and exhibition, proposing synergy between production and distribution with attractive business opportunities.
The 2010 edition of MarcabyBolognaFiere, Italy’s only exhibition devoted to private brands, organized this year with the sponsorship of ADM (Associazione distribuzione moderna), was a resounding success.
Organized by BolognaFiere, it attracted 4,993 professionals (of which 495 foreign), 406 exhibitors (20% foreign), showing great interest by foreign professionals and buyers.
At the close of its 6th edition, it has become the reference point for the business community in this sector.
The 2010 edition of MarcabyBolognaFiere registered the international interest than ever, with exhibitors from Europe - Austria, Belgium, Spain, Slovakia, France, Great Britain, Romania, Hungary, Germany, Greece, Switzerland, Holland, etc. – as well as a number of important extra-European participants: Korea, Estonia, India, Tunisia, and Turkey. This drive to internationality is related to the interest in Italian foods and wines shown by consumers all over the world.
During the exhibition a series of events devoted to foreign buyers, aimed at creating a network of high level contacts in Bologna (during MarcabyBolognaFiere) that can expand even further through a series of projects organized between one edition and the next.
MarcabyBolognaFiere is even more vital to distribution and to promotion of the private label as a strategic growth factor for modern distribution thanks to a partnership agreement signed with ADM, in 2009. The collaboration between these two leaders lead to major initiatives and to more precise definition of future editions of the event, guaranteeing the topicality of subjects treated and steady contact with the market.
