Wrap Film Systems Launches Film & Foil Dispenser
The latest product from Wrap Film Systems solves the unhygienic, dangerous and frustrating problems associated with other food wrap products on the market, and does so in an environmentally friendly refillable dispenser.
The result of extensive research, design and development, the new device, plus bespoke refill rolls, is now available to selected major supermarkets in Wrap Film’s signature Benedetti brand, and is available for select own-label projects.
Representing great value for money because of the significant reduction in waste and ease of use, it provides hygienic dispensing of cling film and foil wrap, while completely avoiding the cuts and scrapes often experienced with traditional cardboard dispensers.
“This product has been designed to offer a safe, economical, easy-to-use alternative to those products already on the market,” said a spokesperson for Wrap Film Systems.
Consumers save money two ways. Refill rolls, with minimal packaging of their own, cost less than buying additional dispensers. Consumers also save, the spokesperson pointed out, because “there is practically no wastage.” The user can measure out exactly how much is needed before the wrap is cut in one movement rather than tearing it across and risking ripping, sticking or twisting, which means the film or foil is unusable and more must be rolled out.
Another advantage is that the refillable dispenser, even when it’s ultimately discarded, is itself recyclable and uses “no more packaging than a water bottle,” according to the spokesperson, “so, it will appeal to an increasingly environmentally aware consumer.”
A recent survey has revealed that many householders specifically look for refillable, environmentally friendly products when they shop.
